Unable to use a bore slighter for my CZ 858 and front sight removal

Hey guys, I would like some advice on how to remove the front sight at the muzzle on my CZ 858 NO restricted.

I have installed the cantilever (NEA) scope mount and I think the riffle would look much slicker if the barrel was plain.

I have 2 scope I use with this riffle.

Burris AR 332
Leopold 3x9

I have the Tasco bore sight kit. It worked great on my pinker (579 VTR).

I am not able to get a sight picture as the elevation of the scope is 2 high above the bore scope view finder, and forward sight is blocking my view.

As a rule of thumb, while using a bore scope slighter, regardless of the scope set up, is it correct to assume the 100 yard bench mark for sighting the scope in would still apply and therefore the scope needs to be raised at the rear so that the scope is now in line with the bore scope picture.

Could somebody give me advice, I am also having the same issue on the SKS I own too.

To get the front assembly off, you drift out the two tapered pins holding it on and using a brass or aluminum punch, you tap it off the end of the barrel.

There will be two grooves left on top of the barrel where the sight assembly pins were.
