Unboxing the Uberti 1875 Remington Outlaw Single Action Revolver

Been mentioned by some folks that "they like a pistol with a little heft to it"...the only thing here, to be historically correct, is that an 1875 is a cartridge gun, not C & B, 1858's and 1863's (New Models) are C & B
 
A fellow cowboy action enthusiast runs a pair of Remington 1875's as his main match guns. Really likes them. Not everyone likes the feel of the Remington revolvers. But, they are good shooters, just the same. Plus, versatile and accurate.
As Fingers284 mentions, the 1875 is a cartridge-firing revolver. Most I see are chambered for .45 Colt. Make dandy, low recoil shooting irons when loaded with either .45 Schofield, or Cowboy .45 Special cartridges.

I bought one of these as my first revolver (blued version), but bought the dual cylinder (45 Colt & 45 ACP). Only use the 45 ACP as I reload for other handguns already and at time of purchase couldn't get 45 colt. It's a fun revolver to shoot. Kids like it as well.
