haha, weird title i know.

whacha loading for reduced .308win loads?

got 130gr PPSN in good numbers, and can get 150gr SST easy enough down under.

Can varget work for reduced loads? or is 4895 the go to here?

want to be at say 2400-2500 fps i rekon with the 150gr... hearing about 36gr of 4895 is about that?

typicaly speaking using "hodgon" branded powder aka ADI .... have heard that the 4198 could also be used here??

its for my partner an a Ruger gen 2 to get the feels for it all, an then slowly work up until shes on the verge of being uncomfy for a decent hunting load.... im sure 2500fps in 150 will work for her range.

Look at .303 British data, weight for weight of bullets of similar construction. Cases capacities are very close.

.303 Brit 57 gr of water
.308 Win 56

Yeah true, i didnt think of that, funny enough i use 308 data for my 303 lol

would anyone know where Varget would sit ? similiar to 4064 is it not? as in could i run 39 gr of varget in the 308?
