Undressing a CZ858

I bought some new furniture to update my 858. I am having an issue taking off the lower hand guard. Does anyone know how? I don't want to over muscle something that isn't designed as a punch, and ruin the pin etc. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks all.

I think you need a roll pin punch.

yes, drive it out , dont matter which side .

I bought a set of MAC tools roll pin punches just for that reason.

After punching out the pin, what's everyone replace it with? I'd rather put a small bolt through it than screw around with a punch.

I used a regular punch, you could even use a nail set, just give it a few good taps mine came right out.
