uniflow troubleshoot

I was throwing a couple charges of Imr4350 yesterday with my RCBS Uniflow powder measure, and it was messing up. It would dump when i pulled the lever and then I'd have to shake the crap out of it to get the remainding powder to dump. Sometimes It would dump on my way up and down. seems like the powder was sticking inside the drum.

any ideas? I'm thinking I should rip it apart and give it a good cleaning.

i had the same problem clean it with rubbing alcohol or brake clean .or something that does not leave a residue .i also had to rechamfer the drop tube .

I had the same problem with one particular powder. It wouldn't fall out of the spout. I'd get one very light charge and the next might be light or WAY over. Damn...I can't remember which powder it was. At any rate, it works fine with every other powder except that one.

Contact RCBS and they will send you a new cylinder...(new and improved)
