Unique pistol serial number

Can any of you guys help me out with a date for a 'unique' handgun?

The model is 'D3'
And serial number '568###'

Its a .22LR handgun, pics up soon If I don't get a date, or if you guys need to see it to date it.

is there a makers mark or just D3 written and the serial number?

D3 was the model on the registration cert. Not sure about a makers mark. I haven't really looked for anything though, just the serial number and whats on the registration. I'll have to take a quick couple pictures tomorrow, and try and post them in the late evening.
