Unissued Mosin Nagant 91/30?

Never seen one. All the Russian M91/30s were made before or during WW2 when they needed every single rifle they could get. The SKS and Polish M44s are both postwar. If there's such a thing as an issued M91/30 I'd imagine it would be one of the post-war Hungarian ones. Very rare bird!

where can you find a unissued m44? Very interested in one!

Where?... right here on the EE:

Bough this one in brandnew, unissued condition for $250.00 a year ago.
Since then I saw several more in the same condition and same price range.

As a matter of fact, there is one right now on the EE....

I have to agree here. Chances are every rifle made during or before the war was used in some form of Red Army service.

I wondered myself. I'd love an unissued - as would 90% of the folks here :p

I've got an unissued M44 polish, and one minty mint M44 polish that had about 20 rounds through it.

There are lots of 91/30 rifles in excellent condition with excellent bores, both referb and non-refurb. Its my opinion that is the the best you can get.

Bought another polish M44

My birthday coming in 1 week so i bought a unissued polish M44:D I have a unissued 1955,never fired but now that i found another one, will not remain unfired anymore:D Quick question, for you M44 owners, you shoot with bayonet folded or deployed? Any noticable difference on impact?

I've never seen one. I wouldn't be surprised though. The Soviets were making far more rifles in 1944/45 than they needed. Maybe they saw use post war, but I'm sure more than a few got packed up in 44/45 and never again saw the light of day. More than likely they never left Russia and are getting sent to the smelter as we speak.

i just piced up a 1935 hex reciever m/n. very nice rifle not a mark on it. i was told it was unissued, but im sure its not. still lots of very nice pretty rifle out there though. this one may not be a referb but i wont know till i get back to nb and take her apart.

cheers and merry christmas
