Unissued Russian SKS's Dealers

Any of the dealers that carry the russian sks's potentially have non refurbs. They weren't sorted when they were packed in the crates, so if you have any locally that you can go and pick through you can find some with no refurb marks, but it's not a guaranteed thing to find. If you go with westrifle or weimajack or anyone advertising specifically non refurbs, it's a guaranteed thing.
Personally i enjoy digging through a crate looking for buried treasures, but if you don't have anywhere locally then you're stuck.

Besides Westrifle & Weimajack .. what other supporting dealers are carrying unissued/non-refurb Russian sks's?

Do you not just want to deal with these two or looking for a better price or ?

I have not dealt with Westrifle though I hear they are great to deal with. I have bought from Weimajack on numerous occasions. You do pay a premium for the rifle but you get what is advertised without searching through crates and whatnot - he knows his stuff and I have never been disappointed in what I have purchased from him.

Nothing to do with the dealer or the price.... looking for certain years of unissued non refurbs.. as I am starting to work on a collection.I did not realize the crates were a mix and match of non refurbs and refurbs... I bought a unfired one at my local dealer... but he will not bring them out to view... he will pick one and say they are all the same... take it or leave it... I lucked out, for the fact the one he grabbed was a unfired beauty.

That's too bad, most places i have delt with will at least have 5 or 10 out for you to look through, maybe not digging through crates, but it's best if you can find one that will.
You could try putting an ad on the EE and list the years you are looking for, see what is out there

Will say take it or leave it, that guy needs a lesson in customer service. I bought at P&D in Edmonton and I was encouraged to look through what they had to get just the rifle that was me. I was also told that if I had a specific rifle year or what not then they would take a look at what was not on display A+++ customer service. I have said it before I love P&D might not always be the cheapest around but they will treat you like a VALUED customer. They know that you can buy on-line for cheaper so they go the distance for you. I like the idea of helping out my local dealers if it is a matter of a few bucks local wins every time especially when they have outstanding service.

As to my SKS I want to say that I receive what I pack on the other side. We do not play a game of "may be I am lucky to get a nice one" I fly overseas for every container and I choose what I want to sell. It might sound stupid to some people who says " all sks are the same". No they are not the same I say. You want to have something nice you pay premium you want something cheap and ugly you would get it.
As to dealers in our area

Wanstalls

Have our SKS at the moment, they might have bought some stock from someone else but some was bought from us. If you ask them in a store just ask for WESTRIFLE sks. I can give other dealers info by email master@westrifle.com

I just recently bought my SKS from Westrifle, and it is a thing of beauty. No refurb marks, all matching (not forced). If I had extra money to spend, I would buy another from Westrifle! Definitely nice rifles coming from there..and nice pinning, which completes it. Thanks Sergey!!!
