They do not make one that will work for both of those calibres in the same loader. They make a small one for .22 and smaller ammo and a larger on that works for 9mm, .40,.45 etc.
They work great. I have 2 and I would not be without them.
One ammo has rims and the other does not. Then there's the general scale of the size of the mags. A loader that handles everything from .32auto up to .45acp just isn't possible if it also has to deal with .22's.
With rimfire ammo magazines there is typically a button on the side of the mags which you can pull down and then just drop the ammo down into place. Most rimfire mag loaders are simply gizmos that let you pull down these buttons without leaving a dent in your finger. With your other hand pick up 2 or 3 rounds at a time and drop them down into the mouth of the mag.
Maglula makes 2 speedloaders. A small and a large caliber. As said above they are not interchangeable due to size limitations. HKS makes a good .22 cal speedloader. They are are cheap, but firearm specific. Colt, Ruger, Browning which uses a similar profiled magazines are compatible with this HKS speedloader.
Thanks guys, I couldn't see how the baby one went from .22 to 9 mm but it sounded like it would in the write up. I have used one of those cheap loaders on my friend's .22 that pushed down on the pin. I know what I'll get now.
