Unknown military gun sight

I think it is from a MG42.

Depending on the stamps, rear sight for either an MG42, or one of the post-war variants (Yugo M53, etc).


EDIT NOTE: Didn't check out all the pictures. Almost certainly WWII-era German, due to the presence of the rear anti-aircraft sight. The Yugo M53's didn't have the mounting system for the AA front sights, so I doubt they would bother to use a rear sight with an AA sight.

Go with the MG42...Most, if not all of the SARAC M53's had the AA sight removed which is what the bar on the left side is.
Also, I think there is a waffenampt on the side of the base...last picture
