Yep. Okay it's a rimfire, but it's the most powerful rimfire ever made with ballistics like a centerfire.

I called and spoke to them about the product. It IS an AR-15 even though it's not specifically advertised as one; the upper and lower will both fit other ARs, so a restricted classification is guaranteed. However they did say that while they're only making a 10-round magazine to start it is "no big deal" to scale up to a larger mag in the future.

And best of all, they're already ITAR export registered.

A viable option for 3-gun perhaps?

No. Classification of the firearm has absolutely zilch to do with mag capacity. HANDGUNS are ten rounds max regardless if they are centerfire or rimfire. Rimfire rifles are unlimited capacity.

Doing some quick math, the cheap stuff is about 30c a round, so no, not cheap compared to 223. Especially since you cant reload it or develop your own loads.

Looks like it has a standard size magwell too. If it is so, then any lower could work. Score some mags, a barrel and a bolt carrier group and you could build your own.

22LR conversions mag caps are already un-regulated and cheaper.
