Unloading a Butler Creek mag?

I bought a Butler Creek magazine, and I loaded it up to releave some of the tension on the new spring, break it in a little bit. Is there any way to get the rounds out without cycling them through the gun if I wanted to remove them, or should I just leave 'em in and shoot them out when I get a chance? I don't want to remove 'em and I'll probably just leave 'em in and shoot them soon but do these mags unload like handgun magazines or do you have to cycle them through?

I'm worried about putting too much pressure on the rims of the cases, I don't know how much of an impact that would set them off.

The first round is the hard one to get out....once it's out, the rest push out forward easily. I used the plastic tube of a ball-point pen to get the first round out.
