I see in the EE forum a Glock 22 2nd generation and a CZ-75 selling for way much more than what it's worth becuz of the unusual serial number? Can someone please enlighten me on this . I would like to understand as I have in my possession a Glock 22 with a 003! lol!
Thx

I would say he is going to have a hard time finding a buyer that agrees with the extra value unless there is some precedent set by previous sales. I guess he could start a new trend.

I really like my CZ Shadow and might consider the first one off the assembly line to be desirable and slightly more valuable but there are definitely limits.

Evil serial number.....

I have a pistol who's serial number ends in "666".... will that narrow my buyers if I ever decide to sell it....

Well that's sort of cool, but somewhere there's a Walther PPK with s.n. 007!:D

That's funny, my Glock 17 is numbered 001, I think it's neat. Would not advertise it, it's a Glock ffs.

Here is my question....why are guns on the EE ONLY damaged by safe kisses? No one has ever dropped one. If it wasn't for all these horny safes, no gun on the ee would be anything short of mint condition.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I have a safe kiss on two guns. I pull them out of the safe and play with them every few days, and twice found a small scratch on them. Either from the edge of one of the shelves or rubbing against another gun.

Solution: I installed foam in the safe, and bought a second one so the guns don't touch.

I've only ever dropped a gun once, on my carpet.

My glock has a very unusual serial number as well. Not another Glock in the entire world has the same serial number ;)

It is kind of neat to have all the numbers be the same though. Anyone wants a Glock 21sf with a 222 on it, for only $2220 it can be yours.
