For the benefit of those interested in trying shooting in an F-Class match, there are a couple of really good club level matches happening in BC in the next few weeks. I thought I would post them here since they seem to be kinda hidden.
1) Mission Rod and Gun Club June 7 - 8. This is a 2-day shoot at 300 yards. FTR, F-Open, Benchrest and sport rifle (factory gun). You would need 100 rounds which includes for score, sighters and the 2 minutes of non-scored sighting they allow before the first string each day.

2) Mission Rod and Gun Club May 11th (one day match) FTR, F-Open, Benchrest and sport rifle (factory gun). You would need 60 rounds for score, sighters and first relay unmarked sighters

3) North Thompson Fish and Game Club, (Barriere BC) Bill Peacock Memorial Match, May 3 -4. I believe this is a 700M match over 2 days. You'd want 100 rounds .

April 5th & 6th: entry fee $80.00
June 8th: entry fee $40.00
August 24th: entry fee $40.00 October 4th & 5th
Marc Thibault Memorial: entry fee $80.00
I know these guys are all using electronic target marking, so a phone or tablet is a must.
If you are new, have never attended a shooting match and would like to try it, these are definitely what you're looking for. There is contact info and directions on the websites for this
