Your recently mailed membership card may be missing your certifications such as Safety Officer, Safety Officer Instuctor, etc. Please be assured that your certifications and membership status are still valid and can be checked via the IDPA website. There was a mistake in printing the cards by an outside vendor.
In an effort to expedite and simplify new memberships and renewals, IDPA chose to use a fulfillment house just like many other organizations such as the NRA. Unfortunately this has not proven to work for us. Our membership mailings became delayed and most recently, the mailing included cards with missing certifications.
We are in the process of bringing the membership mailings back in house to ensure that membership and renewal materials are mailed in a timely manner.
We deeply apologize for the delays and other issues resulting from this business decision. We are working diligently to send out new cards to those affected. If you have not already contacted us about your card you can do so at beckah@idpa.com.
