Stock looks to be a better quality, but for the other updates actually done to the rifle, it would most likely be cheaper to buy a heavy barrel for an existing rifle.
Anybody that has taken the BX trigger apart knows the only difference is the polishing on the BX and lighter trigger pull. Improvements that can be done at home using some elbow grease and a 8$ replacement spring.
The only benefit to a new buyer really is the iron sights, and the claim of owning the new version.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the changes, but id like to see them hit the shelves under 550 CAD.
Anything more and it just proves Ruger used the redesign to inflate their prices 25-30% like they did with the Ruger American series.

I believe IRUNGUNs already did a run on them. I could be wrong but I remember them being near 650 cad. Exchange rate being the killer. They sold quick.

Standard Houge 1022 stock, with a Ruger Emblem in the grip. Ruger has been using them on Target and LVT models for years.

Will most likely handle like any other 10/22 in a hogue stock with a 16” bull barrel.

I’d pick one of those 32024 models up for the barrel alone.
