Updated....Cooey 84-840.....?

Cooey never put out a hinge 22.

The shotgun 84 is 2-3/4 and the 840 model is 3”.

The model 840 followed the 84. The 840 has some plastic replacing the steel used in the 84 on the fore stock etc. I would not define the models by the chamber length though, as I have a .410 model 84 with a 3” chamber. IIRC the barrel is simply stamped .410

I was referring to the 12 gauge models. They also changed the wood on the 840 to cheaper option of birch.

The 410 was always a 3” chamber for the Cooey line.

Well folks, I had a chance to meander over to this gentleman's casa today and pretty much as
I suspected.
It was a Cooey 840 in .410.
In pretty decent condition and his asking price pretty much matched the condition.

Butttt, I dint leaf empty handitted…………………………...:runaway:
