I went to check out the Browning Maxus today and I was impressed by the feel and look of the gun. It was similar to an SX3 or SBE. Light and quick to shoulder. I like the idea of a magazine lock too. I also held the Beretta A400. It felt heavy and bulky. I also tried the Browning Cynergy. For a double barrel shotgun, it is light and easy to handle. I may make the move to the over/under and go with the Cynergy. Not enough $$$ and room in the safe to buy them all!!
I agree with all the replies in regards to the quality of the Gold Hunter. I have used the gun for trap, waterfowl, and upland and it has never let me down. Easy to disasemble and clean. A huge amount of aftermarket products available for it. If after all my research I don't find anything to replace it, I definitely won't let it go. Thanks for all the input.
