upgrade from pal to rpal form question

ok, i looked through a bunch of posts and couldnt quite see the answer, but i upgraded from pal to rpal, and on the form in section g, it asks for safety training certification,

it asks, have you passed the canadian firearms safety course, yes or no, then below, the same for the restricted,

question is, i took my pal over a year ago and have since moved and cant find my copy of the test, , so if i answer yes to that one i cant check off proof attached

i can however check yes for the rpal test and attach the test results for that,

would that be enough?..or should i photocopy my pal it self even though the number is on the first page?..i`m kinda stuck

any help is greatly appreciated.........and yes, i realize i should`ve just done them both at once..lol
 
ian745, I had same question when I was doing my upgrade. I called RCMP and asked them what should I do about it. Unfortunately I don't remember their answer :( But it was like 5 minutes on the phone total. Just call 1-800-731-4000 ;]
 
The fact that you have a PAL is evidence that you passed the CFSC. At the beginning there is a section to provide your current license number on the application.

I also included photocopies of my DL and PAL when I sent in my upgrade.
 
i did the same a long while ago...called and asked. they said that they had the Pal training on file and didn't need anything from me, since there was a bit of time that had elapsed after taking the R-portion that info was already in my file as well (instructor filed the info with them). I was told to say yes and to note my reference number for the call, that way when it was processed they would look it up and find the info right away. she also read me back the info so i could have it for down the road if needed.
 
i phoned them this morning and actually got right though to them, zero hold, talked to a super nice lady that that said, yes, my original is on file, , i still have to check yes and for the proof section i have to mark down , test on file, also, if you got a normal pal then go to upgrade with in the first 3 years of getting it, its only $40.00 instead of $80, score, save more cash for the upcoming handgun purchase!..lol,

this info is all direct from the firearms center current as of 45 mins ago:)
