Been looking at the Sig P320. It looks like a excellent gun. However I already own a S&W M&P 9mm. I dont think I want two polymer striker fired pistols in 9. So my question is to the people who have shot both, is it worth dumping the Smith and picking up the Sig?

I like my Smith and all. It has never done me any wrong. But damn, the 320 is just to ###y to look at.

I haven't shot an M&P9 but I've owned a .40 for about five years. I think I'd prefer the 320 by a small margin. I like the grip shape and texture better, and it has a nicer trigger pull (by a small margin--I like the M&P trigger). The reset is much crisper too. If the necessary bits-n-pieces become available the removable fire control module will allow for some customizability.

Funny enough I shot both my M&P9 and some guy's P320 today, and other than the trigger being a little nicer on the Sig, I'd stick to the M&P. WAYYYYY more muzzle flip from the 320, and it just didn't feel as good in my hands. My 0.02$
