One of the most popular upgrades to our Maple Ridge Armoury Renegade Rifle is having a TriggerTech trigger installed.

The Renegade rifle comes with a standard MIL-SPEC trigger that has approx 7.5lbs of trigger pull, and is perfectly adequate for most people's shooting ability.

As the saying goes: "It's good enough for government work."

However a TriggerTech trigger makes a world of difference to the shooting experience with a short pull and "Zero-Creep".

TriggerTech triggers come in a large variety of models and configurations: Adjustable or Fixed trigger pull; Straight or Curved trigger; Black or Stainless trigger and hammer; and Single-stage or Two-stage trigger pull.

While the TriggerTech Adaptable was by far our best seller last year, the introduction of the TriggerTech Duty line has since surpassed the Adaptable in popularity. Meanwhile the TriggerTech Diamond is still the premium offering.

If you are local, and buy the trigger in person, the installation is FREE!

Cross Industries makes excellent AR Pistol mags that function exceptionally well in the MRA Renegade. WE HAVE LOTS OF THEM!

I dropped the Adaptable Triggertech into my Renegade, massive improvement! Love it!

How much of an improvement would one of these be compared to the OEM trigger?
I dont know much about triggers.
Hi William, the Mil-Spec trigger is completely adequate. It's what is used in almost all the military AR15s and millions of other firearms that take the same trigger group. For example you would find this same trigger pack in the Kodiak Defense rifles, the Black Creek Labs semi-auto rifles among others.

The TriggerTech trigger takes you down from a long and somewhat creeping 7.5 to 8lbs and almost a 1/4 inch of travel down to maybe 1/8 inch of travel and depending on the model as low as 1.4 lbs of pull. It is extra smooth due to a novel roller between the locking parts that allows the trigger to fire almost effortlessly yet still deliberately and safely.

TriggerTech AR-15 Duty Trigger

The design of our new Duty Line was driven by feedback from military and law enforcement operators. They wanted our patented Zero Creep Technology and proven stainless steel internals, but with a more tactile feel. To achieve this, we more than doubled the pull weight and length of the first stage. And after the zero creep break we engineered a much more forceful reset. The result? A totally different feel that offers more certainty with every shot. The Duty Line is TriggerTech’s interpretation of what Mil-Spec should be.
