Upgraded Sig226 vs Sig 226Tac Ops

Hello,

I was wondering if there is really that much difference between the 2 handguns above, for those that have shot both/have both, have one or the other.

By upgraded Sig226, I mean the SRT trigger put in, as well as perhaps trijicon sights?

Was thinking of picking up the Tac Ops, but do not know of anyone who has one, so have not had the chance to fit/fire.

Does the $300 (or more) pricetag warrant the expenditure for the Tac Ops? is there much difference? I know most of the $$ will go towards ammo.

tac ops grip alone is $150+

Tac Ops grips are useless unless you get one with the extended mag bases, and most of the ones Ive seen dont come with those, they come with standard mags with stardard bases, making it actually harder to reload than with flush fitting grips. Just something to be mindful of.
