My first airgun was a Brocock Bantam in .25, one with a Beech wood stock and 400cc metal bottle. It was recommended to me by a friend who's really into airguns. The thing was a lot of fun to shoot, but it was such an air hog, that I couldn't get more then ~12-15 shots on high power before velocity started dissipating. Once I get a long Taipan Veteran in .22, that airgun has remained in the closet until very recently.

I was at the same friends house the other day, and we were shooting .25's on his property. I forgot how much fun a .25 is, they shoot much differently then a .22, and this left me with wanting a .25. well hold on a second, I had to tell myself, I have a .25 in the closet. The shot count sucks, but perhaps I can fix that. With a little research online, I ended up ordering a 580CC 4500 psi Omega carbon fiber bottle, as well as an Altaros regulator. This could be a fun project.

Has anyone else upgraded an airgun before? Anyone know a Brocock Bantam inside and out? Curious if anyone has already headed down this path before, and has any advice, tips and potential pitfalls.
