You got caught discussing illegal activity on a public forum. Get a life.

That's interesting, because in the past the lab has ruled that if they can get an AR upper to function on any lower, the firearm is an AR. The most famous example of this was the infamous ATR lower that they attached an AR upper to with baling wire, got it to fire once, and labelled as an AR variant. They've also ruled that the modern AR10 is a variant of the AR15. I guess this thread will be useful to someone. Restricted rifle, anyone? Remember, you heard it here first.

Just took some measurements.
The STAG pin sizes are 0.2772in
SR25 Front take down Pin Size 0.281in (STAG 0.279in, 0.002in tighter)
0.0038in Clearance between the 2.

I definitely would not call it swimming.

I have seen BCL 102 factory guns that worked fine with 0.007in clearance.

“Swimming” = Comparitively speaking.
The pins on both my SR-25 and MWS need to be drifted out, while the Stag pops out like any typical run of the mill AR.
The stag pins are smaller by a few thou, so recoil won’t be bearing from pin to takedown lug like it aught to.
Again, metallurgy isn’t my game, so I don’t know if this matters much, but I have a sneaking suspicion that if it isn’t bearing from pint to lug, it is going somewhere else. So that means to me that if I used my MWS or KAC upper on the Stag lower, that lower is going to be taking recoil in places that may or may not affect it in areas of wear and tear.
