Alright this might be a stupid question and I’m in the army and a good shot but I have no interest or an overabundance of knowledge of AR's alright my questions

1. AN AR lower do they all have the same sized magwell?
2. If they do how do the rounds sit in the mags?
Ex. . .223 compared to 308

Again possibly dumb question but I’m inquiring for a friend thank you all for reading

Hope your mags never run dry

.223 AR's are ar-15's and .308 AR's are called ar-10's.
I don't know all the details but the .308 (ar-10) lower has a bigger mag well because the .308 mags are bigger then the .223 mags.

5.56x45 VS 7.62x51 The second number general denotes the length of the cartridge case, add the length difference between the two bullets, you can easily estimate the size difference between the riounds.

The Ar10 is an Ar15 on steroids. Everything is bigger but the grips and stock.
