I"m interested sounds like a hoot. I've never shot this type of match, can you give me an idea of the course of fire if it's not to much trouble. I imagine that in urban sniping the distances are not that long.

No, I haven't shot this one, but it sounds quite interesting. 100m range, spotter and some wet ground. What could be better?!:(

Have you shot this match before??

Are you going to shoot on Friday or Saturday?

Looking forward to this one as usual.

See you there.

Well I was told Saturday was the date with Friday being the rain date, but as my wife's family live in Listowel, I'll be down on Friday for sure. Just read your write up, and it sounds exactly the way I hoped it would. This'll be my first "competitive" shoot, so I am really looking forward to it. I should be bringing a buddy down as well. If you are in town on Friday we should grab a beer.:D

If you haven't yet, read Bark's write up. It's very good.

How do i sign up?

Theres really no way to "sign up" or pre register. You just show up for this event. Shooting starts at 9:00 sharp. So if you are there by 8 or 8:30 you have time to pay, fill out the required paperwork, unpack your gear, draw your shooting lane, and get to the line.

There is a relay every hour on the hour. Some relays run quicker than others, and we can have 2 relays in a 1.5 hour time span instead of 2hrs.

You don't have to be there first thing. You can show up whenever you want, and sign up for the closest time slot. If I'm not mistaken they shoot from 10am-4pm on Friday for those that can't make it on Saturday and 9am -5pm on Saturday.

Can anyone provide a cost for this match? I would assume there is an entry fee of some sort?

Entry fee is $40 dollars. That gets you the all you can eat lunch provided and one relay. You can reshoot for a mere $10 more. This reshoot WILL count towards bettering your score. You can re-shoot as many times as you want as long as you keep dropping $10 bucks a relay. They have several hundred dollars in gift certificates that are given away as well. For every relay you shoot, your name goes in the draw. At the end of the day, the names are pulled and the gift certificates and vouchers are awarded. If your not there to receive them, The club mails them out along with the entire match results.

The GC and Vouchers are usually $20-$25 for the Beer Store, Canadian Tire, Tim hortens and the LCBO.........and theres one of each in Listowell.:D
