What should a fellow do to assist in his female hunting in Vancouver? Walking around Stanley park has its moments of ladyglory, but the walk is pretty long for a power walker like myself.
If you're a hunter in Vancouver, what do you do to get outside?

Drop in swing dancing @ the Legion on Commercial Drive Saturday nights. You don't even need to be good, just be able to act like you're having fun and you will never be lonely.

Not exactly outside, but has its merits considering there's ALWAYS a shortage of guys and ALWAYS a surplus of girls who want to dance...

buy some sandals, beads and grow your hair long and walk around with a bong......or you could just bait them by laying a trail of granola ........sorry couldn't resist

... Lots of places in Vancouver where you can try your Luck ! Granville Island Market, always a good ploy to ask for advice/recommendations etc., Out by Kitsalano Beach, even in Winter. If you've got a cute puppy, the choices are limitless! Lots of Coffee Shops, Grocery Stores etc. on Broadway or W3rd. are also good "hunting grounds" ..... The Night Clubs are an act of desperation, OK I guess if you're not looking for a "Long Term Commitment" ..... I should offer the disclaimer, "I'm well and truly Married, but work has exposed me to some of the areas/places mentioned, thus no actual hand-on experience" ! ..... David K

English bay beach, Gastown, or hit up some live shows. All good success rate.

Too bad the Marble arch is gone, that place was a fantastic place to meet the girl of your dreams for a night....good memories.

Just asking that question makes you sound like some sort of stalker. I am sure your house has been staked out and the RCMP is assembling a nice thick file on you as we speak. ;)

Sadly, I'm the gov't's best friend now. (I pay my taxes). I'm looking to do some importing this year. Someone's gotta do it...and the job market looks pretty tight.
So hopefully later this year I can get some lower cost stuff than what is presently available...or at least cool down the demand a bit.

Swing and Salsa are great dances, I met my wife through ballroom dancing. You will have fun and meet some decent ladies.

Spot and stalk or are you going to bait and wait in a blind?

Honestly I'm doing the latter right now. The only problem is, is all this waiting is turning into a diminishing pool of decent looking girls left. In my own pool that is.

So I might have to turn into a stalker in Spring time, when the weather in Vancouver isn't so gloomy?

You mean there wasn't enough money in the world to make her stick around??

She went back to Japan to meet her career dream of working for her parent's daycare. She's doing some high level Montessori work. All I can say is she wanted to stay in Canada, but I sorta recommended that she went back. Since her parents weren't getting any younger and they definitely need her help now.

You're smart enough to know time = money 303, I'd say there isn't enough time in the world is all.

And ain't that the truth. :D

Maybe, but if she really cared anything about you, she would stay. Her mom and dad have gotten along without her so far........
