Is it possible that it says "RUKO" on the rifle?
RUKO was an importer, they didn't make any firearms, just rebranded other makers as their own. Posting a pic of it will help in identification.

Did you ever find the magazines?
The URKOs were Brazilian I think.

Urko is indeed Brazillian. Urko makes a few plinker guns and airguns as what I found online. I too need magazines.

here's mine. I just got 3 in trade and none have magazines. I will end up building a nice one from the 3 and re-finishing a stock to my liking.
