I am a collector looking for parts and information regarding the C5A1 conversion of the 1919a4 mg.
Thanks
Dave

What kind of parts? As far as I know(and nobody from our government tells me anything), most, if not all, of our 7.62NATO 1919 Brownings were chopped long ago.
Gunparts is listing most of the parts required to use 7.62 ammo in a .30 Browning. Not exactly cheap though. $99.15US for a bolt. Brand new, in-the-wrap, Israeli barrels for $83.95. $73.45 for an excellent to new barrel without the wrap.

What's your question? Between users and fixers, there are plenty of reasonably knowledgible sources here.

I have located some C5A1 parts but I am still looking for information on the conversion of the 1919a4 to the C1 version. I have documenation about the C1 to C5A1 conversion but not info on the original changes to the barrel, barrel extension, left and right sideplates.
Thanks
