In the process of buying one from the states, as I understand it this is a prescribed antique. I told the seller to mark it as such nad to print the appropriate Fire Arms Act section and include it in an envelope marked customs documents. Anyone ever done this? This was what I was told I would need to do. It is a rifle, modern reproduction Jack Garner Tennessse Rifle.

Thanks

I just got a Lyman Trade rifle from Ohio. He shipped it, and it arrived, no "special" paperwork. But I was really worried that it had been seized because it took a while to get here. Putting the section of the firearms act with it should be a good idea, i also considered telling him to do that. Other than that, it should be pretty safe, unless some incompetent buffoon stumbles upon it!

What did he mark on the customs forms?
