US Gov't Surplus Military vehicle auction on Dec 17

Item #541510 6x6 wrecker has less than 100miles/218hrs on the clock. A tad too big for me though.:p

Man, didn't even look at those... If I was a younger man, I'd buy one in a heartbeat and drive it up to Fort Mac... The thing would pay itself off the first day up there, and nothin but profit after....

Id drop 10K on a humvee in a heart beat. while all the soccer moms show up in their H3's my wife could roll up in the real deal!

cariboo 6x6 sells em. (in BC) everytime I drive south I have to resist stopping there LOL

There are lots of former U.S. army vehicles in canada. It may require upgrades to become licensed here but no big deal. Export from the usa is a hassle but doable. There was a dealer selling them from Ontario as well a few years ago.

Also they aren't combat vehicles. So not as tightly controlled.

The trick from a Canadian perspective is not to buy one less than 15 years old, vehicles 15 years and older are exempt from the Registrar of Imported Vehicles, and all of their requirements, so then it becomes a Provincial issue. Some provinces (Ontario) are tougher than others on foreign vehicles, but most, including Ontario are quite easy on Canadian registered (AKA "Canadian Import") vehicles.
