US Gun Guy With A Fondness For Canada...

Hi:

Former state highpower rifle team shooter and gunsmith here from South Carolina. Spent a half-dozen or so summers in Ontario and Quebec growing up and my parents went on several motorcycle tours out in the Maritimes and so I have always had a fondness for Canada, and I keep CBC as one of my go-to news stations on satellite radio, so I didn't have to look up Stephen Harper to pass the questions when I signed up. :) I also have a fondness for a number of guns that are actually more plentiful up your way than down here, like SKSs, SVTs, VZ-58s, etc.

I am just glad there is a Canadian firearms scene...and a pretty vibrant one, from what I can tell.

With Jian Ghomeshi gone, how much warpage can the rest of CBC muster? Now, that dude is warped... :)

Will be flying out to San Francisco this summer...first time I have ever been west of the Mississippi...western Canada would be absolutely fabulous...probably would rather visit Vancouver than San Franciso anyway, but that is not where the convention is...

I listen to NPR sometimes, sometimes they talk sense, but mostly it's spin.

Still, it can be amusing at times to listen to liberals struggling to jam reality into their perceptual cookie molds.;)

Welcome! But don't expect CBC to give you any useful info...especially if it's about Stephen or anything for that matter. Those guys are state paid lapdog that has no clue of what the rest of Canada wants outside of Ont. it's run by a bunch of left leaning anti gun wing nuts that want nothing more then nanny state where the evils of things like common law abiding citizens wanting firearms were abolished from our land by their great prince "Justin (I'm in 3rd place) Turdo"
