Hey Gents,

What do you guys recommend as the best match quality M1 Garand rebuilders out there. So far my research shows Fulton Armory. But I am NO expert.

IMHO, the whole point of getting a bare receiver is to *get* to become an expert (or at least, getting knowledgeable about the design). Just like getting an engine block for a re-build is about getting to become a knowledgeable mechanic. Though, I'd agree that ymmv.

If you can get Fulton Armory to take on the job, go for it.

Also, contact "purple", a member on this site. I have personally seen some of his work and it is very professional.

I've also looked at Orion 7 in NY State. I am looking for a finished gun purchase, not sending in a receiver. So far the Fulton peerless looks good. Thanks for the contact bearhunter!
