8.6 is probably going to die now that the 338 ARC is available. Too many people blowing up suppressors from bullets coming apart due to the 1-3 twist rate.
People down here actually want stuff in 9x39. Starline makes brass for it and AR companies are starting to offer barrels. It uses 9.3mm rifle bullets, which are fairly common. The type of people who would want 300 blk over 9x39 will buy ARs over this. The kind of person buying this, probably wants it in the original caliber. The decision not to offer that caliber seem like a bad idea.
