went to wholesale sports to buy the savage fvss with the accutrigger and the told me that the us market get the guns about 6 months before canada and that really stinks any one know how to get the 17hmr with an accutrigger in canada

I bought a Savage 93R17BVSS last spring and it is made in Canada. Not sure where the Accutrigger portion of that gun would be made though. Maybe the Accutrigger is made south of the border and installed in Canada? That could cause the delay.

My gun of course did not come with the Accutrigger so I installed a RifleBasix kit into the gun. It works great. I have it set for 1lb of pull and it likely moves less than 1/8" to fire. I have an Accutrigger on a 10FPLE2B which I like but the RifleBasix setup feels better and is more adjustable in my opinion. I have not had alot of time to play with the new rifle with the Accutrigger but I can not seem to get it under 3lbs pull yet.

I think its just the 64F, Mark I and Mark II series that is made in Lakefield, Ontario.
