I am wondering if there are any US suppliers of ammuntion that CGN'rs frequent or recomend. I'm going to be looking for specific ammo, but right now I'm just window shopping.

You need U.S. Permits/licences inorder to purchase/posses ammo in the U.S, or to have it exported out of the U.S.

If we had US suppliers for ammo, there would never be a "7.62x39mm ammo crisis", or problems finding 5.56mm etc. Life would be great.

It is our government that is keeping the ammo out of the country with their regulations and testing requirements and then throw in Canada Customs who would like nothing better than to sit on a container of ammo (that you have fully paid for) for a year or more deciding if they should let it into the country.
Blaming suppliers for lack of ammo is like blaming the guy that pumps your gas because of the price of gas is too high.
