US869 In 264mag

I got several pounds of US869 for a good price and some 140gr accubonds. Has any one tried this powder? There doesn't seem to be alot of info on this powder in the 264.

I've got 8 lbs myself, it was a good deal. I'm loadin for a 300 RUM and can't find much data for any good loads either. I think it's similar to 870, but I'm not sure.

Should be very close to H870 which is killer in a 264 Win Mag.

Hello Ruger007. I went through the same thing. Max load of US869 with a 140gr bullet in a 264 win mag is 77 grains. 140gr accubonds and 74gr of H870 will make you smile.

140 Accubonds ??,when did these show up ?? we have had 130 for a a while when you can find them.

I got the 140 accubonds through WSS mail order. I also got the US869 from higginsons. Even paying the shipping still $15-20 a lb cheaper than in Nanaimo.

It shuld work great as H-870 was a great powder for the 264. I understand US869 is a close replacement.
