Well guys, here is my latest project ive been working on,
I though of going for the full ump mod, but the thumbhole stock really grew on me. The short barrel really makes a nice difference.

The USC is very rare to find... They haven't been imported for quite a long time. I was lucky to be able to get a good condition used one from P&D not too long ago, and I also have a UMP semi lower coming.

I will admit, that the short barrel with the thumbhole stock looks quite nice actually! :D

ezkmo, I have the same Tango Down stubby grip on my USC :p
 
I'm glad you got that barrel seated after, how about that lug? Did you grind it off? If you want an extra stock to chop up, lemme know, I got one going for cheaps, you'd need to paint it though. Looks good.
 
How difficult is it to do the barrel swap? Can you do it yourself, or would it be better to have a gunsmith do it? I suppose you'd have to properly adjust the head-spacing, so I'm guessing yes. What sort of tweaking was needed?

Barrel is a drop in. it's held in place by a roll pin. pretty simple.
