Used 10/22 sporter price???

A guy at work wants to sell his used 10/22 sporter? (model the one with the wood stock) , I believe they are around $250-275 new. Does anyone have any idea what a used one goes for? I don`t know what to offer.

There are always people looking for Ruger 10/22 actions. If the whole rifle is in very good condition, I'd only offer $200, otherwise why not just buy new? If the stock and/or barrel are noticably scratched up maybe you could get it for $170? If it's really beat up and worn and you plan to just use the action anyway, offer whatever you think he'll take.

I paid 125 for a gun where the barrel was shot out, and the stock was ruined. I'd saw $175-200 if she looks good.

I sold two int he last month. Both minty...both were 175 shipped. They sold fast, but IMO thats what they were worth. They were used guns after all.

Thanks, for the input. The barrel and action look very good and the stock only has a couple little marks, not brand new but nothing really noticeable. I can get it for $100. So what I hear is that I should jump all over it.

Nooooooo. It's way over priced for you. Keep looking for a better deal, but PM me with his name and number.

$100 is a STEAL. Even the stripped receiver would go for more than that on here.
