Used firearms - 4 more added. Webley Mark IV

I highly doubt the Webley MkIV is 38 Special as advertised. They were made in 38 S&W which is not at all cross compatible with the easily obtainable 38 Special ammo.

I could be wrong. Many revolvers in 38 S&W had their chambers bored out to 38 Special. Many of those fail as 38 S&W is about 200 Lbs of energy and 38 Special is 300 Lbs +.

Many guns have cylinders too short for the conversion. I believe the old Webley's are likely too short.

Hope this helps. I am not trying to be an a$$, I just don't someone buying a gun and it not the caliber they think there getting.

Cheers
Moe

Thank you for the heads up. All it says on the barrel is .38. We checked it further - now - and it is in fact S&W.

You guys just don't get it. I'm just trying to help and then you go out of your way to make me look like an a$$.
