ebay has one for sale for 36 usd right now , I saw one on ther a while ago a t-6 with a 4x scope for 100. keep an eye out there and you might have better luck .

I have got a number of orders from Freds in the past. I spoke with him in the fall, he has stopped shipping to Canada. He said orders have been coming back to him regardless of being under $100.00. and it was becoming a hassel.

I'm sure if you did all the proper import paperwork on your end he would gladly ship your order.

Given the fees involved......is it worth it, or is it easier just find a deal on the EE when it comes up.

poo! what would i need to do ?
With an import permit could i attach other thing with the order maybe ?

"...He said orders have been coming back to him regardless of being under $100.00..." The ATF or the Department of State must have had a word with him. Or he finally decided that shipping out of the U.S. wasn't worth going to jail. M-14 parts, stocks included, are restricted for export regardless of the value.
M-14 synthetic stocks aren't that great. I find it significantly increases the muzzle jump. Not the felt recoil, just the muzzle jump.

Get a Boyds Walnut, or the laminates are nice also. They ship to Canada. Use all the metal off your Chu stock. The boyds come finished or unfinished. The finished ones are well done, but boyds stocks are sometimes oversized......so if your picky, buy an unfinished sand it to the way you like it, and oil it up yourself. Their Walnut is nice just oiled.....no real need to stain.

I bought 2 unfinished Boyds Garand stocks a while back. One I just oiled, the other I stained with Febings Leather Dye in "Medium Brown" and then oiled it. Both turned out nice. The stained one has a nice red tint that some people like on their Garands.

PM me your E-mail and I could send you pics of them if you would like to see the two different finishes.

Good to know. I was just curious as I've got a nice walnut M14 stock that I'd like to use right now but obviously have to fill the selector cut out. I was hoping to avoid refinishing the whole stock.
