USGI stock fitting to M305

I have a nice new walnut USGI stock and when I install my receiver into the stock and try to get the trigger assembly to lock in place. I can not get the trigger guard to lock in place is there any mods I need to make to the stock to fix this. Pics or video showing what has to be done would be great.

I would be surprised if the receiver sits flat on the stock. The m305 has a different right side, it sticks down a bit.

On the right side of the stock in front of the selector cutout you should be able to see there is a small area of wood that needs to be filed down a bit. A USGI reciever is shaped to go around that. Norincos are not. It needs to have a little bit filed off.

You see how the rest of the stock bedding surface is sort of angled or beveled? Just file that part down so it matches the angle of the rest of the bedding surface.
