Using CFE223 instead of Leverevolution or BLC2?

I’m collecting bits and pieces to start reloading for my Remington 14 in .35 Rem and I’ve got a question regarding powder choice. I have a bottle of CFE223 leftover from loading .303 British, but I only find one listing (Speer 220 gr data) for using CFE223 powder, but several for Leverevolution, BLC2 and IMR3031. Since they all have a very similar burn rate, could I substitute my current powder (with extra caution) for any of those powders? I plan on running Hornady or Sierra 200 gr round nose bullets.

I got one for Christmas, so as good excuse as any to whip it out. I’m not looking to push velocity beyond 2000 FPS, but I am looking for an improvement in accuracy and consistency to some extent. Part of it is me struggling to use the aperture sight with my astigmatism, but I have a solid 1-4 if I can figure out a mount for it.

There will be plenty of signs..? Odd thing to say but I would agree a chronograph is most useful.

I have experience with the Rem Model 14 in 35Rem. I once was loading 4895 under some 200 gr bullets and accidently made a mistake with my beam scale and loaded all the ammo 5 grains hot. Way over max.

The pressure limit in that rifle is around 34,000 psi, so a load of 45,000 won't show any pressure on the case or primer, but will show up on the chronograph.

My comment "a M14 won't show pressure signs when you go over max." may seem odd to you, but is based on my experience.

CFE will give you higher pressure and lower velocity then that of leverevelution, so just bare in mind that your velocity may be near the same as per the book, but your pressure will be higher. I studied in great depth going the other way and I substitute LR for CFE and get higher velocity with lower pressure, which for reduced loads in other bottleneck cases is what I was looking for, and I had to figure something out after grabbing 4 eight pound jugs from wholesale sports when it was 75% off, it's a very magical powder if you play with it long enough

H4895 is what shines in my 35 rem, keep in mind I have a bolt action, but I can load down to 1000 fps and back up to 2050, gives me a full range of options
