Hi CGN'ers - Brand new to shooting with a scope, windage I don't seem to have a problem with when I zeroed my scope first time using but for what ever reason, I kept adjusting the elevation the wrong way. Over thinking it most likely. Anybody have a good catch phrase for remembering which way to turn your elevation turret?!?!

Thanks!

Don't feel bad - I do it too. Do what 9x19 said - adjust your impact point. As soon as your mind starts thinking about how the reticle is moving, STOP.

If bullets are hitting high, you need to remove elevation, so turn down. If bullets are hitting low, you need to add elevation so turn up.

LOL I have done some reading on that and have already decided to stick with just MOA reticles and 1/4 MOA turrets. I got a new Sightron STAC 4x20x50 from Jerry at Mystic Precision and I got to say WOW! Great scope for the price. Now I just need to learn how to use it properly!!! Thanks for the info CGN'ers
