Using Traditions Muzzleloader Pursuit II XLT

Hi Folks,
I want to share this Experience with my ML.

Bought it for Hunting Season this year.
First time used it , and had an Excellent experience.
Used American Pioneer and Hornady 240 Sabots.
Never Cleaned between the shots and out of Total 7 shots fired on Range for 50 to 100 yards.All hit within 3" of the Bulls Eye. Recoil was much less than my Savage 270 and not to talk about the Great experience. Loading was not tough and could feel the difference in speed when using 100 compared to 150grams of Powder.I used Sticks rather than the Powder and it was awesome.
Never used any Bore Butter or so as recommended by American Pioneer.

I was always hearing that we have to clean between rounds to get good pattern, but never so with American Pioneer.

Share your experiences.

I'll swab the barrel with a patch between shots at the range, if I'm looking for a good load, but I'm using loose powder. A semi clean barrel will show the group better, but while hunting I don't swab if I need to shoot again.

I'd rather hunt with my slug gun than the ML, but I find it interesting and it gets me an extra week of deer hunting.

I swab between every shot too ( saturate patch with Windex) when working for good groups. Although Triple 7 is relatively clean I like to remove any possible error. I prefer loose powder as well. Maybe when I'm thru my 2.5lbs of T7 FFG I'll give Jim Shockeys stuff a try.

For your info, American Pioneer prohibits cleaning between shots and clearly advice to keep using ML until finished for the day and then clean it.
How good is T7 , did you ever used it without cleaning between the shots and how were the results. Also what was your experience after finishing the day, is T7 easy to clean .
How good is it compared to Paradox.
Also give me advantages of loose powder .

More reliable, more consistent burning. Some data suggests that the pellets will move down the barrel before igniting, just from the primer gases, which gives unpredictable pressures.

I got tired of the misfires with pellets, and now use T7 FFFG only, along with the .25acp/small rifle primer conversion. Completely reliable ignition.

Also, loose powder lets you adjust your load by fractions or single grains, pellets only allow by 10grs, with different combos, as you can only get 30 or 50 gr pellets.

I shoot 85gr (by volume) charge and a 250gr SST for deer, and its around 1.5 moa for 3 shots. I have a chrony now, so next time I have the ML out I'll check the velocity, but I'm thinking ~1750 or so.

I should've also mentioned that I use the Vari-Flame primer adapter and my loads are 110grs volume/75grs weighed.

I also swab between shots with Windex, and follow up with a clean dry patch to ensure that the barrel would be as clean as I could ge it without tearing it down.

I am using a Knight disc w/90grain 777 FFg behind a 300 gr XTP. I know I could go higher but I am extremely happy with its performance.
