Utah, USA made Winchesters

Saw one today at the local shop here in Victoria. First one they'd received. A Featherweight M70 in .30-06. My imprssions?...awesome figure in butt, nice satin finish with super soft black recoil pad. Same configuration as previous Featherweight. Metal finish was about same as last Winchesters. Scrolling (script) looked a little weak for some reason though. Overall quite impressed. Would have been tempted if in .270, 7X57 etc. Price was nine and change, probably cheaper on the mainland.

Made in Columbia, South Carolina. Winchester's offices are in Morgan, Utah...

Actually it's marked Browning Arms Company (BACO) Morgan Utah.
