Utas 15 picatinny rail

Utas 15 picatinny rail wont fit my eotech xps2 or is it out of spec? any width differences between Picatinny Rails, Weaver Rails? thought the width was the same.. eotech flops around loose.. ideas?

update : the utas rail is.798 verse my ar rail @ .840 in total width..

UTAS rail is abysmally about of spec. Should be .835" -.005, so you're at least .032 out.

same with mine. sights fit snug at the front of the rail, and flop around at the back of the rail... gonna try shimming my rear sight... Otherwise the gun is amazing and cycles rounds perfectly.

My XPS-2 with QD mount has a tightner screw on the right side (from view of looking through the sight). Click it clockwise a few times and you should be good to go!

Hey guys, just touch bases with Grumpy at Wolverine. They've got a solution for this.

Good news everyone. Wolverine says that utas is aware of the issue, and are sending them new rails. Contact them asap and they will ship you a new rail once they arrive. It doesnt look too difficult to change.

As mentioned in the Wolverine thread: The manufacturer identified a batch of faulty undersized rails and is working towards getting them replaced. The rails are supposed to all be mil-spec to accommodate all pic compatible accessories.

Yes! I just dealt with them today! What a fantastic business! I recently spent a good chunk of change there and after this I'm very glad I did as the customer service alone was worth it!
