Utas has dropped the UTS-15 pump action shotgun from its lineup in favour of a semi-auto model now.
The semi-auto model is very similar in both size and appearance of the UTS-15 with this newer rendition, labelled the UTS-15A, looking much more sleek with more rounded rather than square edges.
They are also working on further refinement of their AR styled XTR-12 platform with a better action release button and ambi mag release.

looks much better. It'll definitely be used in scifi movies as a laser rifle. I know canada isnt their target consumer but a shotgun that bulky loses a lot of its appeal with the limited magazine for me.

Most "Sci-Fi" movies nowadays have "Laser Rifles" that shoot conventional bullets/shells. They don't want to spend the money on CGI to show laser beams/energy fire. They just buy/rent sci-fi looking guns like this and call it a day (and yes, I am complaining about that)

My UTS15 pump continues to break parts.
The first time it quit, it unloaded the two magazines together and jammed up the chamber. Not Performance. Unusable! Its a freakin pump shotgun.

Sent to Wolverine for repairs, they upgraded it to gen3 under warranty, and it lasted 25 rounds before it failed again and unloaded all the rounds into the chamber & jammed up again.

C$35.00 shipping one way for repairs, I had to eat C$35.00 return shipping, just for warranty. So, $70.00 to ship & return, only to fail again. Not Performance!

Now I am faced with another repair shipment to change out parts that have failed twice. After the first repair, I fired a "falling clays" competition in 2018. The gun failed after one round & the two magazines unloaded at the same time completely jamming up a simple 12 gauge punp shotgun.

Not performance!

It's coming... working my way thru the 800+ pics I took and posting: pics got to be edited to be compatible with the forum so it's going to take a bit of time lol.

I appreciate the work you are putting into it. I'm hoping a shipment is already being built for Canada.
