you've checked Amazon.ca out? they carry a lot of UTG products.

yup already did.. they do sell scope rings.. but most scope are on the amazon.COM side.

exactly like eBay.. .COM got better stuff

i found one provider in canada.. still waiting for an answers..
and at the same time working a deal with opticplanet in the usa .. waiting for their export licence checkup

I am looking for this exact scope.
I tried purchasing from opticsplanet.com and it gets denied, upon contacting them and they informed me that under no circumstances do they sell any american optics to canadian customers. I was also in contact with the BIS in the states, the department that regulates export licenses and they said that there should be no problem to get a license for the export of that scope and that it was just a choice of opticsplanet.com on who they choose to sell to.

Also according to leapers.com, dlairgun.com is the authorized distributor of leapers products in canada. Here is a link to this leapers scope on their site. http://www.dlairgun.com/Scopes/Leap...QB_Bug_Buster_AO_RGB_Scope_SCP-M392AOLWQ.html

I also was looking to purchase a Sightmark SM13003B dovetail reflex sight, a Leapers UTG TL-BP88 Bipod, and a Hogue 15010 AR grip.

These are all for my paintball marker. The Hogue AR grip is for a custom frame I am making for my paintball marker.

I am already aware of Dlairgun but i was trying to get it cheaper.. 80 vs 125 canadian

I want it at 90.. I can have a new one to my home for 147$ shipped but the higher i get, the higher i want to just push more and get a leupold.. that defeat the purpose of getting a cheap/good enough scope.

off course Opticplanet failed

1) We appreciate your interest in our products and our company.

The easiest way to determine the availability of an item for export is for you to place the order online. Once the order is in our system, we then review the order to the numerous checks relating to the item and its export destination.

When an order is placed, a pre-authorization is done with the credit card or (FRAUD ALERT) but no transaction is completed until the order is shipped. If we are unable to export the items you have requested, we can cancel the order and any credit card re-authorizations would cleared based on your banks policy and any (FRAUD ALERT) Pre-Authorizations would be voided.

then

2) Unfortunately, due to the U.S. Government Export Control Laws and Regulations, U.S. Companies are not allowed to ship the product(s) you ordered outside of the physical territory of the United States without proper licensing. We apologize, but at this time we are not able to apply for the required license(s). Therefore, we are forced to cancel your order.

I have learned that this mentality does not work with firearms.

I wish you luck, because you are likely gonna need it with that scope.

Sorry, I meant to only quote the part about "you want it cheaper".

A) Cheaping out on a scope is bad news to start.

B) This is Canada and we get screwed constantly on pricing.

Totally agree on both statements.. I bought a leupold 3-9x40 last week for my takedown but it did not fit in the ruger bag once mounted and was lucky enough to get my 280$ back from the store.

after that i looked for a leupold 2-7x28 but since the hunting season is about to finish, could not find anyone selling them which brought me to try "something else" (leapers way).

I'll let that thread die and go back to hunting a quality scope.. if you have any recommendation of quality/fits takedown bag.. im more than open to suggestion.

Thank you for your inputs mlehtovaara

I have been told the Leupold Rimfire fits. I used to own one and they are very compact, and a great scope.

I have no experience with the gun/bag myself so can't really help there.

I just hate seeing people buy cheap scopes, as it usually ends as a waste of money.

I hate Optics Planet. They refused to ship a Maxpedition EDC pouch to a US address because I paid with a Canadian credit card, if you can believe that (a small nylon zippered pouch, made in China). Then they bombarded me with spam e-mails advertising products that they would not sell to me, in Canada, even if I tried to order them.

The reason I want to buy this particular scope is the application for paintball as well as it being short compared to most other scopes out there and having a long eye relief. I believe in you get what you pay for mentality however there have been numerous reviews on this scope and people are happy with it and I think that it really depends on what you are using a scope for.
