Looks allot like this one...
I had hoped that over the years the problems with the earlier models would have been worked out, but instead they have not, and in fact as I have seen today they have gotten worse.
Observations...
After 20 mins with a Dremel grinding the "adjustable" front prongs on the receiver cover to their limit I managed an über tight fit...on the receiver so tight that it still needed a light tap from a plastic dead blow mallet to close enough for the receiver cover pin to line up with it's hole.
Sounds good to go right?
Not in a million years!
Holding my rifle up to the light I could see though a huge gap where the receiver cover does not meet with the receiver, and even see the bolt spring inside...in fact I could slip the glossy installation guide paper through from one side to the other.
The worst part was cycling the bolt it would catch and hang up on the receiver cover rails, while back in the open position.
Looking at it apart I can see how the receiver cover rails that the bolt slides on are not true, and can be easily thrown out of alignment every time one undoes the receiver cover adjustment bolts to clean the rifle.
I personally wouldn't trust it to stay true during use with the pounding of the bolt slamming back during operation...it is rather weak aluminum, and nowhere near the quality, and strength of the original receiver cover steel. I can't see how it could last, or even work at all for that matter.
The lovely picatinny tri rail...looks nice and holds a scope well, but they didn't take into account that ones right hand will be cheese grated against the small right side mount, every time one pulls the bolt lever back to #### the rifle.
This also means that it would be pointless to mount anything on that side.
I have no Idea why they didn't recess it back instead of forward like it is.
I took it apart again, and reinstalled the original matching receiver cover and the rifle cycled perfectly...smooth as silk just the way it was designed to function.
Anyway, just thought I'd share my wasted afternoon on an ill fitting, ill designed aftermarket Chinese crap receiver cover mount. Money better spent elsewhere...IMHO Russian side rails are still the way to go.
